The Goal: To establish a network of volunteer midwives to assist pregnant and postpartum women facing challenges and questions related to the war situation. Support includes emotional assistance and professional midwifery care, such as pregnancy and childbirth accompaniment, post-birth home visits, and consultations on various issues. Additionally, the network provides guidance on hospital procedures during the war, helps connect women with necessary medical services due to evacuation, and facilitates access to other professional resources and support.
The Method: We established a hotline for women to submit their requests along with a description and contact information. We promoted this initiative across all the organization's media channels. All information was compiled into a file accessible to volunteer midwives, who then self-assigned based on the type of inquiry and the woman's location. The midwives contact the women directly to provide personalized professional support. The organization oversees the follow-up on inquiries to ensure a structured response.
Scope of Activity: In the first few days of the war, we received 127 inquiries from across the country, supported by 106 registered midwives.
Summary and Conclusions:
The distribution of women who contacted us based on obstetric status is as follows:

34.1% nearing childbirth
29.4% in the birthing stage
